I rather be an Illiterate Blogger Than Write Lies and Propaganda With Perfect Grammar

To tell all the readers that tell me I need an editor. I am not out to get the Pulitzer Prize award any time soon. Why I resonate with many people is because I do not talk down like the old media does trying to sway public opinion. I claim not to know better that most people and never will try. I am human capable of making mistakes like everyone else. I claim to have no superior status when I write. I am a single father of two boys who does not want his kids to live under tyranny.

To be honest, it is so hard for me to go back to sleep knowing what I know. I seen how inhumane CPS treats children in their care after being ripped from their loving parents with the help of brain dead cops. I seen the injustices in the court system denying basic right of due process. I see how veterans are treated not getting the medical and psychiatric care they need to function as productive people. I am tired of the wars and hate to see soldier in our name go plunder and pillage people in other countries for the bankers.

I am the black sheep of the family. Even when I was young. I sensed something was wrong way back in the 1970s, 1980s and some of the 1990s. When I would ask question to my parents and other adults about it. I was told it was not our problem and to mind my own business. Those things I was told was not my problem or not their problem now is everyone's problem because some of things I seen back then now is staring us in the face. I remember my parents would watch ABC news World News Tonight listening to Frank Reynolds and Max Robinson who are now deceased. My parents believed what they said about he cold war and domestic issues like the gospel. The days of the big three monopoly is over thanks to the internet. The well packaged propaganda machines of ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,FOX and MSNBC is seeing the sunset of its dominance in the information war.

I remember before I left Florida to live in Texas. A Sheriffs Deputy turned in his badge and gun when he found out after the fact a 3 year old little girl was raped and beaten to death in a foster home in Florida. No one was arrested or charged. DCF said because of the lack of evidence(A cover Up). No one was arrested. This Deputy helped Department of Children and families take this little girl from a home because the house was not clean. He was just following orders being a good minion for the tyrants. When he found out his actions contributed to this little girls death. Now year later he drinks a lot and wishes he would have done differently. He realized he could have protected that little girl and her family from a miscarriage of justice. Now he looks back at all the corruption between DCF and the sweetheart deal with law enforcement being the hired gun. Instead of speaking out and exposing this corruption being on the inside of the system. He is wasting away drinking away. He should be speaking up instead of self loathing

For myself. It now hard to keep quiet anymore. We must speak up or we perish. We cannot always be worried about perfection and grammar. We been hearing propaganda and lies in perfect English for decades now.  I talk the language of the streets and the common person. I am proud I am not a part of academia. Why do the bloggers resonate with the people because we are straight forward  and honest. We care not about perfection. We care more about motivating the people to act and speak up. We do not have the luxury of self loathing and self pity because the government is taking away our freedoms. We cannot be worried about those grammar NAZIS and petty people who like to find fault in others.

I rather be a blogger who understands I am not perfect. I rather read people with less than perfect grammar than lies and misinformation in perfect English any day. We are winning and do not let these petty people so wrapped up in their own intellect push you around.

  1. I think people need role models. Like many of the people who see what is going on, I like history. 100% of humans die in every 100 years or so. How many humans ever, totally ever - toppled evil and replaced it with good? Confucius didn't. Jesus didn't. Mark Twain didn't. If people considered who they admired from the past, they might better evaluate themselves. If you put up the good fight and do it in such a way that you inspire others, that already puts you in the top 1%. Spartacus dies at the end in failure. If I got a request for bloggers, that is the really easy one. All bloggers should forever more refrain from 'defending themselves'. Don't battle the sophistry. Don't retort to what somebody said about you. Always write about your NEW THOUGHTS, your progress. Tactically speaking, game theory wise - it is entirely calculated to trick a blogger to waste one whole writing defending himself against a petty attack. That is the actual purpose of petty attack. I call you a Martian, then you write a paper called the reasons you are not a Martian. Press forward through the slingstones and arrows, never give them a commentary. IMO

  2. Keep up the good work, and don't let the shills & sheep shout you down! TRUTH prevails, that's why it's true----lies & greed & deceit & hate are self-destructive and will aways wither way eventually......let's help it along!

  4. It is "I would rather" or "I'd rather" not "I rather". I'll tell you one thing, no one in their right mind would advertise on this site. And why would anyone donate to you when you don't bring anything near "quality" in your posts. It is hilarious that you mess up the title of your post. It makes you look like a moron.

  5. Actually, the funny part is, jumbling it on purpose WAS a statement on the topic of the whole paper, and Ryan was too stupid to even pick up on that. You were PERFECT help; thank you. You made the point beyond perfectly. lol

  6. Ignore the idiots Real Man. If a person uses grammar as a reason to ignore the real, more important message then how smart can they actually be?

  7. Ha ha lol. Shut up anonymous scum. Why don't you grow a pair and not post anonymously. And looking back at all the posts on this site, it is hard to believe that it was done purposefully.

  8. who cares if your grammer or spelling or punctuation is correct. your message matters. keep it up. anyone who speaks out, types out, protests out, stands out. you're doing more to help us all than any of these internet trolls(looking at you "ryan") sniping from behind their computer. I'm in new york; I was at occupy wall street last saturday when the police started beating people and pepper-sprayed those women. I was right there, saw it all. we fight from where we are with what we've got. keep lighting people up on here. it helps a lot :)

  9. I'm in New York too! I was there for the occupy wallstreet thing too. But, I have the balls to not post anonymously. That doesn't qualify me as an "internet troll." You, anonymous loser, are the troll. No one is going to take someone seriously who has the writing skills of a 3rd grader even if the message is a good one.

  10. I enjoy your posts. They are informative and written in a casual style that is easy and fun to read. Don't change a thing! Keep up the great work and please keep them coming. Thanks.

  11. "I rather read people with less than perfect grammar than lies and misinformation in perfect English any day." Just think how much more impact your writing would have if done well. It's not an either or proposition; either I express myself poorly or lie with erudition. Complex ideas require precise language. Would you go under the knife of a surgeon who lacks technique? Take your car to a mechanic who can't use a wrench? Language DOES matter. Sloppy writing is indicative of sloppy thinking. It's not about "street" vs. academia, it's about communicating effectively.

Advice? Reread your stuff then walk away. Come back later and reread 10 more times. You'll catch most of your mistakes. Your message is on target but gets muddled by the language. Spend some time on your writing and the rewards will be legion!

  12. Ryan, great topic: I have heard it many times, and you have defeated me because I really don't understand. Use a name? So, if I was: Fred, Larry, Bob, or what? Male or female? You want a nationality or a sexual orientation so your small mind could craft a relevant insult? I am 100% certain, it couldn't make the least bit of difference what name anyone uses. Key is, you actually believe that if at the end of what I say, I add on: - Edwardo, that something important changed. Not only can I translate some slippage in spelling or grammar, I can translate people like you: grunts, eye movements, posture, hesitations. I can translate what my DOG wants, and my dog doesn't speak any human words at all. Just go be among your own kind - where you used a spellchecker free off the internet and there is a first name at the end of the post - you know - your idea of being smart. Ryan, you have a mediocre mind; all the spelling in the world won't ever fix that.

  13. When I saw the headline, I knew it was you. I read the article anyway, because I respect what you do, even though I don't agree with everything you post. Sometimes you nail it, bad grammar notwithstanding.

  14. There is only one reward in being an intellectual, that is being attacked and hated.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

  15. Okay, but the thing is, if your grammar was better your posts would be easier to read. My only real objection to your grammar was when you posted a double negative which made it seem like you supported something you claimed to oppose. Your problem is folks like me, who like what you say but that your grammatical mistakes take away from what you are saying--so that, for some of us, your bad grammar really is the problem! Too distracting!

  16. yeah...i made the comment about you needing an editor, and it stands. i really don't need an anonymous blogger to look up to as one commenter noted. I enjoy the subject matter you put forth but your grammar sucks! Now's your chance to improve that weakness, or you can remain the same and not accept change. Whatever...your choice. Many are turned off by poor grammar for whatever reason

  17. Two men in the Peace Corp were in Africa. The monsoon rain season had just started and a dry pan depression filled with water so they decided to go swimming. Just as they were about to dive in, a toothless, one-legged, illiterate negro hopped by and said, "No swim. Crocodiles eat you." One of the young men told the negro, "I have a degree from Harvard in herpetology. The nearest river is 12 miles away, and this pond was a dry bed a week ago. There are no crocodiles." The men dived in and the crocodiles instantly killed them.

The actual lesson to this story is missed by most people. Even after they think they understand, they still think the college boy was the 'expert' and the negro was not. The lesson here is: what an EXPERT actually is. Nice clothes, $10,000 perfect fake teeth, spelling and grammar - all have their useful purpose. They don't make you an expert. That pretty college boy way of thinking is for dumbasses.

A bunch of people who pass through here - would have been eaten by the crocodiles; they are much too smart to listen to any stupid dirty negro. (The fact that he learned something by LIVING life and not reading about it, really is a lot more important)

  21. Forget pulitzer prizes. It is a simple COURTESY TO THE READER to write well enough that the reader doesn't have to read each sentence 4 fucking times trying to figure out what you MEANT to say!

I think most of us are with you in spirit, but goddamn!!! I don't even mind the spelling errors, but it's really fucking annoying when you jump from one thought to the next mid-sentence. If you are going to link your posts to WRH, then before posting, have one of your kids try to read it aloud to you. When they stumble, that is something that needs editing.

  22. The human mind evolved: (believe in evolution don't you?) First comes instant emotional reaction. You 'become' angry, afraid, feel sympathy, things like that. The mind that later evolved puts this 'feeling' into words and reasons. Sadly, the reasons are nearly always a lie. Example: You became angry; you slapped your wife; you made up a story she made you do it. On the internet, there are some OLD CHEAP LIES, been used since day one and used daily by millions. Of the biggest hustles ever used, this one is right up at the top of the list, "If you use good spelling and grammar, I will start being nice to you." Hint: THEY ARE LYING! Write and never give up writing. Think about this: HARDLY ANYONE - has read all the greatest books ever written. They never read the greatest books, much less most the others. The bad-grammar manuscript of Jurassic Park or Frankenstein is worth MILLIONS OF DOLLARS! Any semi-educated peon can spell check it for you. Writing is a skill that improves with practice. No one cares about your spelling and grammar - it was an easy way to put their instant decision they didn't like you into an attack. Substance is all that matters.

  25. It is true that, creative people-those who can love(the power to make everything better-to make something good out of nothing) can't spell and speak and write creatively. The control freaks with no love in them are those who want separation to feel above others-they are evil. Loving people want everyone to be equal-to share for all to have a good life. the control freaks want to be elite and above-but in the end when judgement comes-the elite will go down below to Hell. It is those such as yourself(blogger) who love & care for others as they love themselves-who are creative that will go above to heaven-because they make life heavenly on earth, the others. The control freaky elitists are just here making life hell for others so they can feel more pompous smug and stuperior-missspelling intended.

Sorry realman hope that doesn't get you in trouble but I'm tired of egotistical people. Two in particular!

  27. Keep up the good work. Obviously, people are reading your posts, even if your grammar isn't absolutely perfect. Some of us, including me, are sticklers for bad grammar, but I'm not one to be hardcore with someone about it unless there's a real blunder which prevents a clear understanding of whatever point is trying to be made. I recommend getting a good proofreader, since it you do not, there will always be some stickler like me to point out your grammatical mistakes. I really enjoy your posts and your courage to call out the thugs that constantly get in the way of our freedom. The points you make are generally spot on, so either ignore the criticism of your grammatical blunders, or get a good wordsmith to help. Writing articles complaining about it shifts you into victim consciousness, which is the worst state of mind to be in. We all know a group that have maintained victim status for far too long, draining us to the point where we're just about done with it.

  28. Your grammar is less than perfect, but your observations are 100%. I don't care if you make a mistake or two, you get right to the point, and are rarely wrong. To hell with the trolls, keep fighting the good fight. BTW way to go with being a single father. That takes commitment, guts, and love. I admire you for that.
